9.15 Parade along Republic Street, Valletta with the participation of dancing school children and bands
9.30-11.30 hrs Children’s Dance Programme and defile’ in the Carnival Arena at the Granaries in Floriana (Seated Tickets €5 )
11.30 Defile’ from Valletta in the Tritons Fountain area, Republic Street, St.Johns Street and Merchants’ Street with the participation of Isolated Masks and Bands
16.00 Defile’ in Valletta with the participation of the King Carnival float, Triumphal Floats and Company Floats
15.30-18.00 Dance Companies Show and defile in St.George’s Square, Valletta
18.30 Carnival by night :- Live Bands, Street Parades, Street Party

Sunday 19th February
13.00 Grand Defile’ around the Granaries and the vicinity in Floriana
13.00 Parade along Republic Street IN Valletta with the participation of grotesque masks and band. Parade proceeds to the Granaries, Floriana
14.30–18.30 Grand Carnival Show in the Carnival Arena and the Granaries, Floriana including dancing and float exhibition (Seated Tickets €15 )

Monday 20th February
10.30–13.00 Carnival Band Parade with the participation of Carnival Bands, Children’s dance group and Isolated Masks along the main streets of Valletta followed by dancing at St George’s Square.
16.30–19.00 Dancing Competition and defile’ in Carnival Arena at the Granaries in Floriana (Seated Tickets €8 )
17.00 Parade along Republic Street Valletta with the participation of grotesque masks and band. Parade proceeds to the Granaries, Floriana

Tuesday
10.30 hrs – 13.00 hrs Carnival Band Parade with the participation of Carnival Bands, children’s dance group and Isolated Masks along the main streets of Valletta followed by dancing at St George’s Square.
16.30 hrs – 18.00 hrs Dance Competition in Carnival Arena at the Granaries in Floriana (Seating Tickets €5 )
18.00 hrs Grand Finale in St Anne’s Street, Floriana.

Sunday 12th February
Fleur de lys and B’Kara
Grand Defile in Triq Fleur-de-lys and the bus station at B’Kara.
Activity includes floats, traditional Maltese bands, dance companies and spontaneous activities.

Carnival competition and defile with participation of local bands and dance schools, held in
Mifsud Bonnici Square up to St Anne Garden.

Friday 17th February
Hal-Qormi
Carnival Grand Parade with local bands and dance companies, held in St Francis Square.

St Paul’s Bay
Carnival Weekend including carnival bands and costume competitions, near the sea and in the village centre, in front of St Paul’s Bay parish church.

Sunday 19th February
Had-Dingli – Children and Animals Costumed Parade

Carnival Show with the Band Maria Mater Gratiae, near the bus terminus, Triq is-Santwarju.

Valletta – Floriana 4-8 Ta’ Marzu

Friday 4
6-9pm Dance Competition, near the Triton Fountain and Carnival Parade in the main streets of Valletta (seating tickets at 5 euros)

Saturday 5
4-8pm Carnival Parade, in Valletta, with the participation of King Carnival, Maskeruni, Marching Bands, Triumphal Floats and Dance Company Floats.

5-9pm Dance Competition & Carnival Parade, including Dance Company Floats and Triumphal Floats. Near the Triton Fountain (seating at 12 euros).

Sunday 6
2pm-5.30pm Grand Carnival Spectacle, near the Triton Fountain. Taking part are King Carnival, Grotesque Masks, Triumphal Floats, Marching Bands, Dance Company Floats and Dance Companies Floats (seating tickets at 15 euros).

12.30pm-8.30pm Grand Carnival Parade in Valletta and Saint Anne Street (Floriana), taking part are King Carnival, Marching Bands, Grotesque Masks, Dance Company Floats and Triumphal Floats.

Monday 7
3pm onwards Carnival Parade through Valletta streets. Taking part are King Carnival, Triumphal Floats, Grotesque Masks and Dance Company Floats.

4pm-7.30pm Dance Competition and Carnival Parade near Triton Fountain (seats at 5 euros).

Tuesday 8
5.30pm-10pm Grand Finale in St Anne Street Floriana. Taking part are Triumphal Floats and Dance Company Floats.

Outside of Valletta/Floriana:
On Sunday, at around 10.15am, Artemocion Malta will be performing a Burlesque/Cabaret Carnival show in Zabbar ( Near Zabbar Bus terminus ) and around 11am they will be in M’Xlokk. At around 3.30pm they will be performing at Splash & Fun Bahar ic-Caghaq.

Friday 12th February, 2010

16.30 hrs Assembly of Dancing Companies groups in Merchant Street followed by a Street Parade show composed of King Carnival float, Masks, Band, and all dancing companies with their respective karalla

17.00 hrs Street Parade along Merchant Street, St. John’s Street and Republic Street

18.00 hrs Dance Competition at Freedom Square .

20.00hrs End of Programme

Saturday 13th February, 2010

10.00 hrs Carnival Non-Competitive Dance Programme and Defile in Freedom Square – programme to last around 12 noon.

10.30 hrs Defile from City Gate with the participation of King Karnival float, isolated masks, decorated vehicles. After enclosure defile will proceed along republic street, St’John’s Street and up to Merchant Street

16.00 hrs Carnival Band Show In Valletta

17.00 hrs Triumphal Floats , will start proceeding from Bus Terminus to Valletta. Grotesque Masks will take part in the Valletta defile

17.30 hrs – 21.00 hrs Dancing Programme Competition at Freedom Square. Participation of Masks , Isolated Masks and decorative vehicles and floats in Valletta

18.30 hrs All Carnival items and Triumphal Floats will proceed to St. Anne Street, Floriana for the late night defile and night carnival which will also include the Kukkanja, near Vilhena Monument and other activities intended for the public such as carnival balls, carnival games, and live band gigs.

Sunday 14th February, 2010

13.00 hrs Defile starts from Fosos, Floriana

14.00 hrs Gran Carnival Show at Freedom Square Valletta with gran defile from Fosos Floriana, to Castile Place, Merchants Street, St.John’s Street, Republic Street , Freedom Square to St.James Ditch.

18.30 hrs End of Activity and all floats will be parked at St.James Ditch, Floriana.

Monday 15th February, 2010

10.00 hrs Carnival Band Parade with the participation of a Carnival Band and children’s dancing groups in costume which will animate the atmosphere. Band Parade that will last up to 11.30 hrs and goes around Republic Street, Melita Street, Merchants Street, St. Lucy Street, up Republic Street to City Gate

16.30 hrs Assembly of Dancing Companies near Ministry of Tourism Building in Merchants Street followed by a Street Parade composed of King Carnival float, Masks, Band, and all dancing companies with their respective karalla

17.00 hrs Street Parade along Merchant Street, St. John’s Street and Republic Street

17.30 hrs Dance Competition at Freedom Square

20.00 hrs End of Activities

Tuesday 16th February, 2010
