I read this is a paper.
The Maltese Bishops asked political leaders in Malta to decrease
rhetoric and mend fences.
They mentioned that the national political situation is dominated by
"emotional exchanges" on the European Union and the electoral
commission.
Archbishop Mgr. Joseph Mercieca, Bishop of Gozo, Mgr Nikol Cauchi, and
Auxiliary Bishop Mgr Annetto Depasquale said "The atmosphere is so
heavy that, from time to time, strong language is being used which
continues to weigh heavily on the situation and distance people from
each other".
